About Dr. Ghosh
Compassionate Psychiatrist with a holistic approach to mental health.
Dr. Ghosh was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She received her medical degree from Dhaka Medical College and served as general physician at a private clinic before she moved to the US to pursue her dream.
Experience
Dr. Ghosh completed Residency in Psychiatry from Richmond University, Staten Island, NY in 2017 and serves as an inpatient psychiatrist at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. She practiced as an outpatient psychiatrist at Jersey City Medical Center in NJ and Hollywood Memorial Hospital in FL.
In 2019, she started to work as a telepsychiatrist for various telehealth organizations such as Insight behavioral health (now known as Array) and TeleSpecialists, LLC. She also worked as a nocturnist telepsychiatry provider for RWJBarnabas Health system in NJ. Dr. Ghosh is board certified in General and adult psychiatry. Currently, she serves as an Emergency Tele psychiatrist with RWJBarnabas Somerset hospital in NJ.
Philosophy
Over time, Dr. Ghosh began to realize that the vast majority of people who need psychiatric services are unable to do so for a variety of reasons such as family, personal life, occupation or environmental reasons. Since the COVID-19, more people have been working from home, which has necesitated an adaptive and responsive telehealth physician that can cover both in person and telehealth visits.
